I remember in my early 20s hanging out regularly at Vivian and Adam's house. This song seemed to make it into our "living room party" music rotation on a regular basis. Whenever I hear it, I can imagine singing it at the top of my longs with Viv, Adam, Sheena, and Jeremy (I'm sure there were many more voices filling the air, I just can't remember them all!) It goes great with vodka and orange juice shots while laying in a papasan, just in case you were wondering.
