Don't Bother Him; He's Eating

Shhhh! If you approach slowly, you can see this Daniel in his primitive habitat slowly devouring his food after a long hunt. Look closely and you will be able to detect the gleam of the fight in his eye mixed with the suspicion that another Daniel will come up behind him and steal his meal. Careful not to startle him. If he thinks he is being threatened, he will attack out of desperation with a severity and strength that very few can fight against. We are very lucky to get to see this today. Daniels normally eat in seclusion.

All kidding aside, it is an honor to get to teach a student like Daniel. He is a person who has made a few lousy life decisions, but he's also the kind of person who wants to make himself better by learning from them. Daniel was in a place where he had to make a choice of what direction to go in life and coming to VPHS was the right one. It's a privilege to teach someone like him (especially because of his sense of humor).
